Aims and Scope

The Journal of Soil Biology is the first specialized journal in the field of soil sciences in Iran, which publishes research articles related to research in all aspects of soil biology. The purpose of publishing this journal is to enhance the knowledge of professors, researchers and students interested in this trend and to get a deeper understanding of soil biology for the preservation and sustainable use of soil. The most important areas of activity of this journal are the role of soil organisms in the cycle of nutrients and biological processes related to improving physical, chemical and soil fertility, plant nutrition and increasing yield, modeling mechanisms and biological processes related to dynamization, mineralization and Organization of nutrients, the place of soil organisms in the storage and change and transformation of soil organic matter, biodiversity and function of soil living parts, soil enzymes, relationships of soil organisms with each other as well as plant roots and molecular exchanges between them, diagnosis, Gene expression and exchange in soil, interactions of all types of contaminants and living soil, including bioremediation of contaminated soils, soil biological processes and their role in the production and consumption of greenhouse gases, biotechnology of soil organisms to produce inoculants and biofertilizers Organic matter and biological cleaners of contaminated soils, the use of new molecular technologies to identify as well as track living organisms in the soil and their role in various soil phenomena.
